Ryanair boss says flight prices will rise next year

Ryanair chief Michael O'Leary believes air fares will increase significantly into summer 2027 due to higher oil prices. He told reporters on Wednesday that the airline is hedged at about $80 a barrel this year, but expects to hedge at $100 a barrel next year. A 25% increase in the oil bill would raise Ryanair's costs.
