Ryan Hurst recast as Kratos after on-set injury

The lead role of Kratos in Prime Video's "God of War" series will be reassigned after Ryan Hurst sustained an injury on set in June. Hurst had already been announced for the role and a first look was released in February. Production hopes to restart by mid-autumn after a new actor is cast.
