Russian drone attacks are 'new normal', says EU chief
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Wednesday that Russian drone incidents, like last month's sabotage in Germany, are now the "new normal". She warned Europeans to defend ordinary infrastructure as if it were on the front line while Russia's invasion of Ukraine persists. Germany has formally blamed Russia for the drone found at a Leipzig airport in early August, which the Kremlin denies.
