Russia gains as Iran war starves Ukraine defences

Ukraine's air defences are weakening as the Iran war diverts US Patriot missiles to the Middle East and halts peace talks with Russia. President Zelenskyy warned Kyiv will "definitely" face Patriot shortages, citing that 803 were used in just the first day of the Middle East conflict — equivalent to a full year's US production.
