Royal Mail CEO pay triples to £6.9m

This huge pay rise for the postal service's chief comes as the company's overall profits dropped by a fifth. Martin Seidenberg, chief executive of parent company IDS, received the £6.9m after a £3.6bn takeover triggered his incentive awards. The company's annual report on Tuesday said a £3.6bn takeover by Daniel Křetínský triggered the payouts.
