Royal Family gets £99.9m for cyber security upgrades against Russia

Buckingham Palace is to receive a significant cyber security upgrade, as Russian hackers increasingly target UK institutions. The upgrade follows an admission from the King’s household that the monarchy requires new computer systems due to their age, in order to safeguard it from threats. The new £99.9 million annual funding includes money to replace these older systems and strengthen digital defences.
