Roberto Mancini now favourite for Italy's head coach job

Roberto Mancini is now the frontrunner to become Italy's national football team head coach after Andrea Pirlo withdrew. Pirlo withdrew from consideration on Monday, after facing criticism regarding his connections to a Russian betting company. Two senior figures in the Italian Football Federation, Paolo Maldini and Leonardo, also resigned.
