Former Wales international midfielder Robbie Savage endured a painful FA Cup night as his Peterborough side were beaten 5-0 at home by Reading, with his own son Charlie among the scorers. Charlie's deflected strike flew into the top corner just before half-time to make it 3-0. Jamie Reid then added two late goals for the visitors as Reading cruised into the second round with ease.
