Reform UK plans to cut £50 billion from welfare and scrap disability payments
The party aims to overhaul the benefits system, affecting nearly three million people by abolishing Personal Independent Payments for working-age adults. Reform UK's treasury spokesperson, Robert Jenrick, called the current system "suicidal empathy." Businesses would also pay for employees off sick for two years, taking out insurance to cover the costs.
