Reeves to curb judicial reviews for energy infrastructure projects.

Energy and transport schemes could be built faster under planned changes to court rules for major projects. Rachel Reeves will announce proposals to curb judicial reviews against clean energy and infrastructure developments, including powers for parliament to label some schemes as nationally critical. Offshore wind farms and power stations would face challenges only on human rights grounds, while transport and water projects would get fixed deadlines for legal objections.
