Reeves Joins G7 Call Over Oil Prices

Global financial markets experienced turmoil, with Asian markets hit hard by rising oil prices. Rachel Reeves and other G7 finance ministers will meet at 1:30 pm UK time to discuss freeing up oil supplies worldwide. Crude prices jumped 25pc overnight, passing $100 for the first time since 2022, and reached nearly $120 a barrel.
