Rapist jailed after Euston Road attack on woman

A fast-moving Met Police investigation has put a dangerous attacker behind bars. Hassan Alsarout, 22, a Brazilian national, was jailed for five years and seven months on Tuesday after raping a woman on Euston Road in Camden in October 2025. Officers tracked him to Coventry hours before he planned to flee to Denmark, and he will be deported from the UK after serving his sentence.
