Queensway Tunnel reopens Wednesday after off-road bike crash travelling from Birkenhead

The Queensway Tunnel beneath the Mersey is now accessible again following a significant collision that involved an off-road bike earlier on Wednesday. Merseyside Police got a report of the vehicle crashing at about 13:05 BST, travelling from Birkenhead to Liverpool. Merseytravel, the transport operator, re-routed bus services via the Kingsway Tunnel, causing delays.
