Qatar's former ruler Sheikh Hamad dies aged 74.

People across Qatar are mourning after the country's former ruler died, ending the life of a leader who reshaped the nation during his time in office. He led Qatar from 1995 until 2013, then passed power to his son Sheikh Tamim, before his death was announced on Sunday. He was 74 years old.
