Nick Kyrgios provisionally suspended after positive cocaine test

Former Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios has been provisionally suspended by the International Tennis Integrity Agency after failing a doping test at an ATP event in Mallorca in June. The 31-year-old tested positive for a metabolite of cocaine, and the suspension has been in effect since 4 August. Kyrgios confirmed the failed test himself, calling it a wake-up call and saying he would step away from public life for 28 days.
