5.4-magnitude earthquake rattles Islamabad, parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan

Early on Wednesday morning, a 5.4 magnitude earthquake affected Islamabad and various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported that the quake, which originated in Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region, occurred at 12:51am, 187 kilometres deep. No casualties or property damage were immediately reported after the tremors.
