Primark separating from its parent company by 2027

Primark’s vulnerabilities could be exposed as the clothes retailer prepares to become a standalone business. Associated British Foods confirmed plans to separate the retailer from its food arm through a dividend demerger. This move is expected to cost around £75 million and be complete by 2027.
