Poundland could fall into administration within days after three directors brought in on 15 October prepared to resign, Sky News reports. They are said to have clashed with majority owner Gordon Brothers over its refusal of a solvent takeover offer from Martin Property Group. The chain employs about 12,000 people across roughly 600 UK and Irish stores, though a revised bid could still rescue it.
