Pope and Carse return to England Test squad
England recalled batter Ollie Pope and bowler Brydon Carse to the Test squad for the series against Pakistan, their first recall since last winter's Ashes tour. Dan Lawrence also returns after two years out, while Jacob Bethell misses the whole series through a knee injury. Essex wicketkeeper Jordan Cox replaces Bethell at three as the three match series begins at Headingley on 19 August.
