Police officer investigated for using AI evidence

This is the first known case in the UK of a police officer allegedly using AI to create evidence, raising serious questions. Derbyshire police, working with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), launched a criminal investigation into an unnamed officer. The officer has been removed from frontline duties and is also being investigated for perverting the course of justice.
