Police chiefs have identified more than 230 small areas in England and Wales where knife crime is most prevalent. These areas were identified using new mapping technology, and targeted measures are planned to address the issue. Cleveland Police, for example, will get more patrols in Middlesbrough as part of a knife crime crackdown.
