Mukund Krishna, chief executive of the Police Federation of England and Wales, has been arrested on suspicion of fraud by abuse of position alongside two other national board members. City of London Police's Domestic Corruption Unit conducted Operation Kuat, carrying out simultaneous raids in Surrey, Wales, Somerset, and London following a year-long investigation. The PFEW represents 130,000 rank-and-file officers. Krishna, 46, reportedly received over £700,000 in salary and bonuses in 2025.
