Poland scrambles jets after Russian attacks near border
Air defence activity increased near Poland’s border following Russian attacks on Ukraine. Poland’s military said fighter aircraft and helicopters were deployed as a safety step, while radar systems and ground defences moved to a higher alert level. An update from the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces said the measures were announced in a post shared on X.
