Pilot dies in light aircraft crash near Devon airfield

A woman in her 40s has died after her plane came down on a farm near Dunkeswell Aerodrome, sparking a serious fire. Police, fire crews, and paramedics attended the East Devon incident on Friday at approximately 10:00 BST. Police are collaborating with the Air Accident Investigation Branch to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
