Piddington villagers vote over migrant housing plans
Residents of Piddington in Oxfordshire held a symbolic referendum on Tuesday, protesting plans to house 1,256 male asylum seekers at a former military base. Cabinet minister Jonathan Reynolds defended the proposal, saying the disused MoD Bicester site is more suitable than hotels.
