Philipsen wins Tour de France Stage 17 sprint

Belgium's Jasper Philipsen secured his first stage win of this year's Tour de France on Wednesday. The Alpecin-Premier Tech rider triumphed in a bunch sprint at the conclusion of the 174.7km stage, which ran from Chambéry to Voiron. Philipsen's victory narrows the gap to green jersey wearer Mads Pedersen to just seven points.
