PayPal could sell to Stripe and Advent after $60.50 per share bid

PayPal is reportedly in discussions to be sold to a group that includes Stripe and Advent International. The group offered $60.50 per share for PayPal in July, but the payment company considered this bid too low. Both sides have continued to negotiate over a potentially higher price.
