Palantir challenges Khan stopping £50m Met Police AI deal.
Public bodies' use of AI could face fresh scrutiny as a dispute grows over technology for crime investigations in London. Palantir has told the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime it intends to challenge Sadiq Khan’s decision after he stopped an agreement with the Metropolitan Police. The proposed arrangement was worth £50m and would have helped Scotland Yard using AI systems.
