Pakistan's Airstrikes Kill 36 Civilians After Karachi Attack

Families in three eastern Afghan provinces faced deaths and injuries after military action, with Taliban officials reporting 36 civilians killed and 163 wounded. Pakistan said it carried out ground and air operations on Sunday night after a militant attack in Karachi killed three security personnel. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar said it was behind the Karachi assault, according to the report.
