Oxford Project finds individuals control 80% of old age health.

People could have more control over ageing than many believe, according to researchers studying health in later life. A report from the Oxford Longevity Project said individuals are responsible for at least 80% of poor health in old age, though several public health experts criticised the claim as too narrow. Sir Christopher Ball, aged 91, said the estimate might even reach 90%.
