Oxford expert describes Ebola outbreak in Congo as 'brutal and painful'

An Oxfam water expert from Oxfordshire has called the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo “brutal, painful and very distressing”. Jo Trevor recently visited DR Congo, where at least 2,011 cases and 754 deaths are confirmed from the disease. Scientists at the University of Oxford began developing a vaccine on 17 May, but there are currently no approved drugs for this particular strain.
