Oscar-winning Star Wars editor Marcia Lucas dies at 80

Marcia Lucas, the Oscar-winning editor who helped shape the early Star Wars movies, has died at 80, leaving a big legacy in film. She died on Wednesday from metastatic cancer at her California home, with her family confirming the news on Friday. Lucas won an Oscar for Best Film Editing for the 1977 Star Wars film, later called A New Hope.
