Oracle spent $1.84bn cutting 21,000 jobs in a year
It's nearly five times what the cuts cost a year earlier, and wiped out about 13% of its global workforce. Oracle's annual report, filed on Monday, showed its headcount fell to about 141,000 from 162,000 over the year to the end of May. The $1.84bn covered severance and other exit costs, and Oracle said AI is now reshaping its operations.
