Oracle cuts 21,000 jobs as AI reshapes business

Tech giant Oracle shed about 21,000 global roles in the past year, nearly 13% of its staff, as it focuses on artificial intelligence (AI). The company said the "deployment of AI technologies" has led to these workforce reductions and could continue to do so. Oracle spent about $1.8 billion on severance and restructuring costs during this period.
