OpenAI to tell parents if teens banned from ChatGPT for violence

OpenAI will now inform parents with linked accounts if their child is removed from ChatGPT for violating rules on violent threats or acts. Expanded parental controls already let parents schedule usage hours and reduce sensitive content. The company developed this feature with Moonshot, a firm that monitors online violence, after a mass shooting suspect reportedly used ChatGPT.
