The US company is battling stiff competition from Chinese developers offering similar artificial intelligence tools for less money. On Thursday, the creators of ChatGPT cut fees by 80% on their basic Luna software and 20% on their mid-range Terra system. Processing a million units of text through Luna will now cost businesses just 20 cents, dropping from a dollar.
