OpenAI buys AI camera firm for new mystery gadget

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has reportedly bought California-based AI startup Glass Imaging for over $300 million. Glass Imaging's technology, which improves camera performance by up to 10 times, is expected to be used in OpenAI's new "trillion-dollar" device. The gadget, which CEO Sam Altman has characterised as "the coolest piece of technology", is set for unveiling next year.
