Older LGBTQ+ people fear hiding identity in UK care settings

A new report finds England's older LGBTQ+ community often has worse health, less money, and more social isolation. Many fear they will have to conceal their identity when accessing care, with some already hiding personal items from carers. Demand for specialist LGBTQ+ housing is expected to outstrip supply, despite a third more over-50s identifying as gay or bisexual since 2019.
