Oil prices jump over 40% in 15 days
The ongoing war involving America, Israel, and Iran has disrupted global energy supplies, with Asian markets especially affected. Hostilities commenced February 28 as American and Israeli forces attacked Iranian military sites and leaders, resulting in the death of Iran's Supreme Leader. On February 27, crude oil stood at USD 73 a barrel, but by Saturday its price increased to about USD 103.
