Oil Prices Drop After Netanyahu Pauses Iran Strikes
Global oil and gas prices have begun to fall today, potentially easing energy costs for ordinary people. This followed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's agreement to pause further attacks on Iran's gas field, requested by US President Donald Trump. Netanyahu stated Israel had acted alone in striking Iran's South Pars gasfield this week, adding President Trump asked them to hold off. Brent crude oil fell by around 2% to approximately $105.50 a barrel.
