O'Connor Leads Heptathlon After Four Commonwealth Games Events
Northern Ireland's Kate O'Connor leads the Commonwealth Games heptathlon in Glasgow after four of seven events, ahead of England's Jade O'Dowda by 49 points. O'Connor won her 200m heat in 24.14 seconds after clearing 1.82m in the high jump. Three events remain on Wednesday, the long jump, javelin and 800m, with defending champion Katarina Johnson-Thompson absent and team-mate Anna McCauley sixth.
