Ocado is preparing to appoint a successor to co-founder and chief executive Tim Steiner, who has led the company since 2000, according to Sky News. Niklas Heuveldop, chief executive of Ericsson’s cloud communications arm Vonage, has been sounded out as the front-runner, with the search led by chair Adam Warby. Ocado confirmed it regularly engages in long-term succession planning, though it has not named a candidate or confirmed a timeline.
