Patient has brain tumour removed with live AI help

Rhys Hibbert, a father-of-two from Bedfordshire, was the first patient globally to have a brain tumour removed with real-time AI assistance. Surgeons at University College London Hospital used the AI tool to analyse a live video feed of the operation. Mr Hibbert, 48, said his sight has improved and he has his energy back since the surgery eight weeks ago.
