North West trains face second day of disruption after power cut

Rail passengers across north-west England are facing a second day of travel disruption on Friday due to a power failure at a Manchester signalling centre. The outage, which happened just before 2pm on Thursday, caused widespread cancellations and delays across the region and the Midlands.
