Nissan stops electric Qashqai work to save money
Drivers waiting for a battery-powered version could face a much longer wait. Nissan has paused development of the fully electric Qashqai at its Sunderland factory as part of a wider plan to cut costs and shrink its vehicle range by 20%. Any electric Qashqai now isn't expected before the early 2030s, while the company still plans an all-electric Juke.
