Nigel Farage draws record 33 opponents in Clacton by-election on August 13

Nigel Farage resigned as Clacton MP earlier this month, triggering a by-election. The Reform UK leader has 33 challengers, including comedian Jon Harvey, known as Count Binface, and Alan "Howling Laud" Hope. Farage says voters will decide if he should return to parliament, having denied wrongdoing over undeclared gifts.
