Newcastle signs Aladji Bamba for £34m, fights to keep Guimarães

Newcastle United has finalized the acquisition of 20-year-old midfielder Aladji Bamba, whose transfer from Monaco is valued at up to £34 million. Aladji Bamba is Newcastle's fourth signing of the summer, all aged 20 or under. Meanwhile, the club is trying to keep captain Bruno Guimarães, who Arsenal wants, and is expected to reject a £70 million bid for him.
