New super flu vaccine available as NHS prepares for winter
This winter's updated flu vaccine protects against last year's Super-K strain, with school children and pregnant women getting the first doses from Tuesday. From October, a complimentary NHS flu vaccination will be available to other qualifying individuals, including those aged 65 and above. NHS England says staff prepared for winter earlier than ever after a record-busiest summer.
