Paludohadros proudlovii, a creature from approximately 125 million years ago, inhabited what is now southern England, a muddy wetland environment. Fossils unearthed in 2001 at Ewhurst quarry underwent re-examination by researchers after their transfer to the Natural History Museum in London. The bones were found less than 100 metres from where Baryonyx, a fish-eating predator, was discovered in 1983.
