The new Siri AI features won't be there on day one, because Apple says they'll arrive later in a software update. They also need the speaker paired with an iPhone or iPad that has Apple Intelligence. Pre-orders are open in the US and 23 regions, in blue, green, pink, midnight or white, and you can link 4 speakers for surround sound.
